Витюша, спасибо, все по делу и все заслуженно )))
Между тем песня также вызвала разнообразные эмоции у зарубежных слушателей. Нашлась также и одна девушка из Калифорнии, которой захотелдось ее спеть. Привожу то, что пишут -
Philos Hey Vitaly! If you did not mention your collab request, I would say your song is completed and has various sound parts fitting together quite right. The Russian voice and vocals are authentic and in line with the song's dramaturgy. I recommend to keep this original track and translate the lyrics in English for the reader. It's not necessary to understand lyrics while listening to this progressive rock song with classical elements, because the music is all about. Good success
AQUARIAN AGE This was also what I thought when I heard the song. The english lyrics don´t fit into the melody IMHO,...yes, just do a translation for listeners.
G.E.M.I.N.I I agree with them - I heard the song and think, its finished.
peterdc I don't think this is finished. Everything sounds really good eccept for the strings (the pizzicato is terrible!. I can hear this all so rich and wide with full orchestration, but we can't always do that. I think the vocals are great - really nice voice. Good guitars, drums a little bit thuddy/thick/dead... BUT... That theme at the end - I don't care what plays that -it's FANTASTIC!!! And I'm SO jealous not to have thought of it. But even with that brilliant end I don't think it's a track for UK in general. Would do fine around the Med Sea and up towards your home country (geographically). You could possibly do a USA R&B remix just using the end...? That end is SO cool I'd LOVE to play with that a bit with crashtv. Maybe nothing will happen, but maybe it will. What do you think?
QuestionnaireHey Vitaly, don't change a thing.
That music is so European, so Russian.
It has everything that tired American/British pop music has lost, including an unashamed and unaffected celebration of melody and chordal harmony (which is why Abba got so popular!!!. It has shades of 60s - Michel LeGrand and others.
A lot of American/Brit stuff has degenerated into an art-house pose, all clever noises and no tunes, and it's being killed by its own self-consciousness.
Just keep on doing what you're doing and look to your own and other folk/classical traditions for inspiration; don't copy the American/Brit thing, it's a cadaver.
Hidden Symmetry Your tune sounds fine, if you're going to shop it around as a songwriter any producer would re-do the whole production anyway, they don't look so much for audio quality but uniqueness & artist/ song marketability in a demo. My only suggestion would be that this song; as far as the U.S. is concerned, is a typical example of a pop Latin ballad so if you decide to recut the vocals try them in Spanish, the 2 styles are very similar. Good luck, enjoyed your other tunes as well. Carl
